Bienvenidos al nuevo blog de Academia Pradoventura. Somos José Luis Garrido Rodríguez y Anja Dibbert, los fundadores de la escuela internacional de idiomas Academia Pradoventura. Como primer post de este blog vamos a responder a algunas preguntas de las que nos hacen los alumnos. ¿Cuánto tiempo lleváis aquí? Llevamos en Prado del Rey desde el 2004. ¿Y por qué estáis en Prado del Rey (y no en una de las ciudades conocidas)? Primero, porque es el pueblo de origen de los padres de José Luis. Por eso vinimos aquí de vacaciones poco después de conocernos a través de la escuela de idiomas de un amigo común en Frankfurt (Alemania). A Anja le encantó el pueblo y el entorno desde el primer momento. Lo que más le sorprendió era la forma tan cercana y amable con la que fue tratada por los Pradenses y el carácter auténtico que mantiene Prado del Rey en comparación con otros sitios más turísticos de España que ella había visitado anteriormente. Durante aquellas cuatro semanas José Luis también descubrió muchos sitios nuevos que no había visto en las vacaciones de verano que solía pasar con sus padres de pequeño. Volvimos a Frankfurt con el deseo de volver y de enseñar el ambiente y el entorno de Prado del Rey a más gente, interesada en conocer la cultura, la naturaleza y la forma de vivir de los Andaluces. Un año más tarde, de nuevo de vacaciones en Prado del Rey, nació la idea de crear una academia de idiomas del estilo de la que tiene nuestro amigo Francisco en Frankfurt, una escuela que no sólo imparte clases de idiomas, sino también organiza actividades de tiempo libre y da a conocer los valores culturales, paisajísticos, históricos y culinarios de su entorno. Comentamos la idea con Francisco y en principio le parecía bien, pero nos advertió de que el lugar no era nada conocido y que todas las demás escuelas de idiomas se encuentran en ciudades conocidas. Entonoces visitamos unas cuantas escuelas en España con las que pudimos establecer contacto gracias a Francisco. José Luis hizo prácticas en una de ellas para conocer bien su forma de trabajar. En esas visitas a ciudades vimos que por la influencia del turismo de masas los estudiantes veían una imagen torcida de España donde por ejemplo los camareros les hablaban en inglés y no eran capaces de establecer contacto con españoles. Esas observaciones reforzaron nuestra decisión por Prado del Rey, por ofrecer algo distinto y más auténtico. Tardamos tres años en crear la empresa hasta que en el año 2004 recibimos los primeros estudiantes. ¿Impartís también cursos de otros idiomas aparte del español? Sí, damos inglés y alemán para españoles, por un lado para la gente de Prado del Rey durante todo el año y por otra parte de forma intensiva en los cursos de verano para gente de toda España, interesada en aprender o perfeccionar inglés o alemán durante sus vacaciones de verano en un entorno atractivo y sin salir de España. El intercambio entre españoles y extranjeros, las conversaciones que surgen cuando cada participante quiere practicar el idioma que está estudiando forman un valor añadido para todos.Welcome to our new blog from the Academia Pradoventura. We are José Luis Garrido Rodríguez and Anja Dibbert, the founders of this international language school. It’s the first post of this blog, so we’ll answer some of the questions our students always ask us. For how long have you been here? We’ve been here since 2004. Why are you in Prado del Rey (and not in one oft the more famous cities)? First, because this is the home of José Luis‘ parents. That’s why we came here on vacation shortly after we had met at the language school of a friend of ours in Frankfurt (Germany). Anja loved the town since the very first moment. The greatest surprise for her was the native’s close and lovely way of interacting and the authentic atmosphere of Prado del Rey in comparison to other, more touristic places in Spain she visited before. During these four weeks José Luis discovered a lot of new places he had never seen before as a kid during the summer vacations he’d spent with his parents. We went back to Frankfurt with the desire to return and to introduce the flair and atmosphere of Prado del Rey to more people interested in the way of living, the culture and the countryside of Andalusia. One year later, again on vacation in Prado del Rey, we had the idea of founding a language school like the one our friend in Frankfurt had. A school that not only teaches the language, but a school that oranizes activities to teach the cultural, natural, historical and culinary values. We presented our idea to Francisco and in general he liked it, but he reminded us that the town is very unknown and every other language school is in a well-known place. So we visited a few schools we were able to contact thanks to Francisco. José Luis worked as an intern to get to know the new kind of work. During these stays in the cities we noticed the influence of mass tourism on the city and how the students had a distorted image of Spain, e.j. where the waiter speaks English and that’s why the students were not able to establish ties with the locals. These observations reinforced our decision to found the school in Prado del Rey, to be able to offer something different and more authentic. It took us 3 years until in 2004 we welcomed our first students. Do you teach other languages apart from Spanish? Yes, we offer English and German lessons to the Spanish, on the one hand all year for the people of Prado del Rey and on the other hand as an intensive course during the summer vacation in an attractive environment for people interested in learning or improving the language without having to leave Spain. The exchange between Spaniards and foreigners and their conversations where everybody practices their foreign language are of great value for everyone, very interesting and always a lot of fun.Willkommen beim neuen Blog der Academia Pradoventura. Als ersten Eintrag in diesen Blog beantworten wir einige Fragen, die uns unsere Sprachschüler immer stellen. Seit wann seid Ihr in Prado del Rey? Wir sind hier seit 2004. Warum seid Ihr in Prado del Rey (und nicht in einer der bekannteren Städte)? Erstens, weil dies der Heimatort José Luis' Eltern ist. Deshalb kamen wir im Urlaub hierher, nachdem wir uns über die Sprachschule eines gemeinsamen Freundes in Frankfurt kennengelernt hatten. Anja gefiel das Dorf ind die Umgebung auf Anhieb. Am meisten überraschte sie die offene und zugängliche Art der Einheimischen und der authentische Flair Prado del Reys verglichen mit eher touristischeren Regionen in Spanien, die sie zuvor besucht hatte. Während dieser vier Wochen entdeckte José Luis ebenfalls viele neue Orte, die er zuvor in den Sommerferien, die er mit seinen Eltern hier verbracht hatte, noch nie gesehen hatte. Wir sind mit dem Wunsch nach Frankfurt zurückgekehrt, zurückzukommen und auch anderen das Flair und die Mentalität Prado del Reys zu zeigen, die an der Kultur, der Natur und der Lebensweise der Andalusier interessiert sind. Ein Jahr später, wieder in Prado del Rey, hatten wir die Idee, ebenfalls eine Sprachschule der Art wie sie unser Freund in Frankfurt hat, zu gründen. Eine Schule, an der nicht nur Sprachen unterrichtet werden, sondern an der auch Freizeitaktivitäten organisiert werden, bei denen man die kulturellen, historischen und kulinarischen Besonderheiten und deren Werte, sowie die wunderschöne Natur kennenlernt. Wir besprachen unsere Idee mit Francisco und sie gefiel ihm zwar, aber er wies uns darauf hin, dass der Ort völlig unbekannt ist und alle erfolgreichen Sprachschulen in bekannten Städten angesiedelt sind. Also besuchten wir einige dieser Sprachschulen in Spanien, mit denen wir Dank Francisco Kontakt aufnehmen konnten. José Luis machte Praktika, um ein paar Erfahrungen zu sammeln. Während dieser Aufenthalte in den Städten sahen wir die Folgen des Massentourismus, weshalb die Sprachschüler eine verfälschte Art des Lebens in Spanien erleben, in der zum Beispiel die Kellner Englisch sprechen und sie nicht in der Lage sind, Kontakte zu den Spaniern zu knüpfen. Diese Beobachtungen verstärkten unseren Entschluss, die Schule in Prado del Rey zu eröffnen, um etwas Anderes und Authentisches anbieten zu können. Es dauerte drei Jahre, bis wir 2004 die ersten Sprachschüler willkommen heißen konnten. Bietet Ihr auch andere Sprachen außer Spanisch an? Ja, wir geben auch Englisch- und Deutschunterricht für Spanier. Einerseits das gesamte Jahr über für Leute aus Prado del Rey, andererseits bieten wir auch Intensivkurse für Leute aus ganz Spanien an, die daran interessiert sind, Deutsch oder Englisch während der Sommerferien in einer wunderschönen Umgebung zu lernen oder zu verbessern. Der Austausch zwischen Spaniern und Ausländern, die Gespräche, die auf den jeweiligen Fremdsprachen stattfinden, sind eine spaßige, besondere und effektive Art und Weise für jeden Sprachen zu lernen.
