Este vídeo me ha hecho reír a carcajadas y también me ha creado carne de gallina, sobre todo la escena de las hormigas, y quiero compartirlo con vosotros. http://youtu.be/zyIkgi2LDbk Por otro lado, el vídeo también me ha hecho pensar sobre las ventajas e inconvenientes de viajar en autobús. Como muchos de nuestros alumnos llegan a Prado del Rey en autobús público, conozco muchos argumentos a favor y en contra, según las experiencias que nos cuentan. Entre las ventajas indudablemente están las siguientes: En la aventura de viajar a España, el viaje en autobús es una buena oportunidad de poner en práctica tus conocimientos de español, aunque solo hayas aprendido a decir "Un billete a Prado del Rey, por favor." Mientras viajas puedes escuchar las conversaciones de la gente que viaja contigo y hacerte una idea de lo que hablan a través de las palabras claves que entiendes. Puedes hacer preguntas a la gente que está sentada a tu alrededor - si te atreves. Muchos alumnos nos cuentan que han tenido conversaciones con personas mayores que les han contado de su vida. Muchos de ellos emigraron al extranjero (la mayoría a Alemania, Suiza y Francia) en algún momento de su vida y les gusta contarlo a personas extranjeras. O que chavales jóvenes les han dado consejos sobre los lugares que deben visitar en Andalucía. En las paradas que hace el autobús en el viaje desde Jerez, Sevilla o Málaga a Prado del Rey ves muchos Pueblos Blancos pintorescos y puedes observar cómo cambia el paisaje conforme te acercas a la Sierra de Cádiz. A muchos alumnos les impresionan los embalses de color azul que ven por el camino. Y a otros les llama la atención la habilidad de maniobrar de los conductores. Es bastante económico el desplazamiento en autobús en comparación con otros medio de transporte, entre ellos el tren, o un coche de alquiler. Last but not least, es más respetuoso con el medio ambiente ir en autobús que ir cada uno de los pasajeros en un coche. Esto es evidente pero como hoy es el Día de la Tierra, pega resaltarlo. Luego, como con todo, también hay inconvenientes. Los alumnos mencionan los siguientes: Si el horario del autobús no coincide muy bien con tu llegada en avión tienes que esperar unas horas en la estación de autobuses. Muchos alumnos aprovechan ese tiempo para dar una vuelta por la ciudad y dejan sus maletas en consigna. Otros prefieren no desplazarse, no vaya a ser que pierdan el autobús. Te puedes marear en las curvas. En el trayecto de Jerez o de Sevilla a Prado del Rey no hay muchas curvas pero el viaje de Málaga a Prado del Rey pasa por muchos pueblos de la Sierra donde sí hay curvas. Es buena idea sentarse delante donde menos se notan los movimientos del autobús en las curvas. Tardas más tiempo que en coche porque el autobús para en todos los pueblos. En el viaje de Jerez o Sevilla a Prado del Rey no se nota tanto porque es de 1 hora y media o 2 horas respectivamente. El autobús de Málaga a Villamartín tarda 3 horas y 45 minutos y desde Villamartín a Prado del Rey otros 15 minutos en otro autobús con una hora de espera entre medio. Dependiendo de cuánto puedes ahorrar en el vuelo a Málaga con respecto a uno a Jerez o Sevilla puede merecer la pena asumir el viaje un poco más incómodo o no. Te puede dar miedo de no encontrar el autobús correcto o de no poder comunicarte si eres principiante y tus conocimientos de español son nulos o muy básicos. Si que pensabas que te podías comunicar en inglés en la estación de autobuses o con el conductor del autobús descubriste que no es así. Esto es lamentable por un lado porque en muchos otros países llegas a todas partes con tu inglés. Por otro lado es una ventaja porque así estás obligado a comunicarte en español desde el primer momento - otro aliciente más para aprender español. Puedes estar preocupado de no bajarte en la parada correcta. Si estás acostumbrado a que las paradas de autobús están bien señalizadas en tu país, cuando vienes a Andalucía descubres que aquí no es así. Aparentemente todos saben adónde van y conocen los pueblos que atraviesan ;) Te aconsejo que te sientas cerca del conductor y que le pidas que te avise cuando lleguéis a Prado del Rey, donde hay dos paradas. Te puedes bajar en una de las dos pero lo más recomendable es bajarte en la estación de autobuses desde donde solo tienes que subir una pequeña cuesta y bajarla en el otro lado (siguiendo el mapa que te mandamos) y ya estás en la calle peatonal delante del bar La Esquina de Carmen (lugar de encuentro) y de la academia de idiomas (encima del bar). ¿Se te ocurren más ventajas o inconvenientes? ¿Cuál es tu experiencia de viajar en autobús público en tu país y en el extranjero? As many of our students come to Prado del Rey by public bus, I know many arguments for and against it, according to the experiences that they tell us. Among the advantages there are undoubtedly the following : In the adventure of traveling to Spain , the bus trip is a good opportunity to practice your knowledge of Spanish , even if you just learned to say "Un billete a Prado del Rey, por favor. " While traveling you can listen to the conversations of the people traveling with you and get an idea what they are talking about through the key words that you understand. You can ask questions to the people sitting around you - if you dare. Many students tell us that they have had conversations with elder people who have told them about their life. Many of them emigrated to another country (mostly to Germany , Switzerland and France) at some point in their life and they like to talk to foreigners. Or that young people have given them advice about the places they should visit in Andalucia. At the bus stops on the trip from Jerez, Seville and Malaga to Prado del Rey you see many picturesque White Villages and you can see how the landscape changes as you approach the Sierra de Cádiz. Many students are impressed by the blue lakes that you can see on the way. And others are surprised by the ability of the drivers to maneuver the bus. Going by bus is quite cheap compared to other means of transport, including the train, or a rental car. Last but not least, going by bus is more respectful to the environment than going by car. This is evident but since today is Earth Day, it has to be highlighted. Then, as with everything, there are also drawbacks. The students mentioned the following : If the bus schedule does not match well with your arrival by plane you have to wait a few hours at the bus station. Many students take advantage of that time to walk around the city and leave their luggage in a locker. Others prefer not to move from the bus station, to be sure that they don't get lost and miss the bus. You can get sick because of the bends. On the way from Jerez or Seville to Prado del Rey there are not many bends, but the trip from Malaga to Prado del Rey goes through many villages of the Sierra where there are quite a few bends. It is good idea to sit in front where the movements of the bus in the bends are less noticeable. It takes longer than by car because the stops in every village. On the trip from Jerez or Seville to Prado del Rey it's not a problem because the journey takes 1 ½ hours or 2 hours respectively. The bus from Malaga to Villamartin takes 3 hours and 45 minutes and then another 15 minutes from Villamartin to Prado del Rey on another bus with an hour waiting time in between. Depending on how much you can save on flights to Malaga with respect to a flight to Jerez or Seville it may be worth taking upon yourself the slightly more uncomfortable journey. You may be afraid of not finding the right bus or not being able to intercommunicate if you are a beginner and your knowledge of Spanish is zero or very basic. If you thought you could communicate in English at the bus station or the bus driver, you discovered that it is not like that. This is regrettable because in many other countries you get through with your English. On the other hand this is an advantage because you are compelled to communicate in Spanish from the first moment - another incentive to learn Spanish. You might be worried not to get off the bus at the right stop. If you are used to well signposted bus stops in your country, you will discover that it is different here when you come to Andalucia. Apparently everyone knows where they're going and know the villages that they cross ;) I suggest that you sit near the driver and ask him to advise you when you get to Prado del Rey, where there are two bus stops. You can get off at either one but it is the best to get off at the bus station, from where you only have to go straight (following the map we sent you) and you're on the pedestrian street in front of the café-bar La Esquina de Carmen (meeting place) and the language school (above the bar). Photo: Fotobus.es Author : Anja DibbertDieses Video hat mich so richtig zum Lachen gebracht, aber auch Gänsehaut verursacht, vor allem die Szene mit den Ameisen, und deswegen möchte ich es mit euch teilen. http://youtu.be/zyIkgi2LDbk Auf der anderen Seite hat mich das Video auch zum Nachdenken gebracht über die Vor- und Nachteile, mit dem Bus zu reisen. Da viele unserer Sprachschüler mit dem öffentlichen Bus nach Prado del Rey gelangen, kenne ich viele Argumente dafür und dagegen, nach den Erfahrungen, die sie uns erzählen. Zu den Vorteilen zählen zweifellos die folgenden: Die Fahrt im Bus ist ein Teil des Abenteuers, nach Spanien zu reisen und bietet eine gute Gelegenheit, deine Spanischkenntnisse anzuwenden, auch wenn du nur den Satz gelernt hast: "Un billete a Prado del Rey, por favor." Während der Busfahrt kannst du der Gespräche der Leute um dich herum lauschen und dir überlegen, über was sie wohl reden anhand der Schlüsselwörter, die du verstehst. Du kannst den Leuten, die in deiner Nähe sitzen Fragen stellen - wenn du dich traust. Viele Sprachschüler erzählen uns, dass sie ins Gespräch gekommen sind mit älteren Leuten, die ihnen aus ihrem Leben erzählt haben. Viele von ihnen sind im Laufe ihres Lebens ins Ausland emmigriert (überwiegend nach Deutschland, in die Schweiz oder nach Frankreich), und sie erzählen Ausländern gern davon. Andere Sprachschüler berichten, dass junge Leute ihnen Tipps gegeben haben, welche Orte sie in Andalusien unbedingt besuchen sollen. An den Busstationen, die der Bus anfährt auf der Fahrt von Jerez, Sevilla oder Málaga nach Prado del Rey siehst du viele malerische Weiße Dörfer und du kannst beobachten, wie die Landschaft sich verändert je näher du der Sierra de Cádiz kommst. Viele sind beeindruckt von den blauen bis türkisblauen Stauseen, an denen sie vorbeikommen. Anderen fällt die Geschicklichkeit der Busfahrer auf. Die Busfahrten sind ziemlich günstig im Vergleich zu anderen Verkehrsmitteln, wie z.B. Zug, Taxi oder Mietwagen. Last but not least, ist es umweltfreudlicher, mit dem Bus zu fahren anstatt dass jeder einzelne mit dem Auto fährt. Das ist eigentlich klar, aber weil heute der Tag der Erde ist, ist es doch passend, es zu betonen. Wie bei allem, gibt es auch Nachteile. Die Sprachschüler erwähnen die folgenden: Wenn der Busfahrplan nicht so gut zu deiner Ankunftzeit passt, musst du ziemlich lange auf den Bus warten. Viele nutzen diese Zeit, um sich ein wenig in der Stadt umzusehen und lassen ihre Koffer in einem Schließfach. Andere warten lieber an der Busstation, nicht dass sie sich noch verlaufen und den Bus verpassen. In den Kurven könnte dir schlecht werden. Auf der Strecke von Jerez oder Sevilla nach Prado del Rey gibt es nicht so viele Kurven, aber die Fahrt von Málaga nach Prado del Rey geht durch viele Bergdörfer, wo es schon kurvig ist. Es ist eine gute Idee, sich möglichst weit vorne hinzusetzen, wo man die Schlenkerbewegungen des Buses weniger merkt. Du brauchst länger als mit dem Auto, weil der Bus in allen Dörfern anhält. Auf der Fahr von Jerez oder Sevilla nach Prado del Rey fällt das nicht so ins Gewicht, weil man 1 1/2 bzw. 2 Stunden braucht. Der Bus von Málaga nach Villamartín brauch 3 Stunden und 45 Minutos und von Villamartín nach Prado del Rey weitere 15 Minuten in einem Anschlussbus mit einer Stunde Wartezeit dazwischen. Je nachdem wie viel du sparst bei dem Flug nach Málaga im Vergleich zu einem Flug nach Jerez oder Sevilla kann es sich lohnen, die etwas unbequemere Reise auf sich zu nehmen oder nicht. Du könntest Angst haben, dass du nicht den richtigen Bus findest oder dich nicht verständigen kannst, wenn du Anfäger bist und deine Spanischkenntnisse nur sehr gering sind. Viele von unseren Sprachschülern dachten, dass sie sich an der Busstation und mit dem Busfahrer auf Englisch problemlos verständigen könnten und mussten feststellen, dass es nicht so ist. Das ist schade auf der einen Seite, weil man in vielen anderen Ländern mit Englisch überall hinkommt. Auf der anderen Seite ist es ein Vorteil, weil du so gezwungen bist, dich von Anfang an auf Spanisch zu verständigen - ein Anreiz mehr, Spanisch zu lernen. Du könntest Bedenken haben, dass du nicht an der richtigen Haltestelle aussteigst. Wenn du es gewöhnt bist, dass die Bushaltestellen in deinem Heimatland gut beschildert sind, wirst du wenn du nach Andalusien kommst, sehen, dass es hier nicht so ist. Scheinbar wissen hier alle, wo sie hinfahren und kennt die Dörfer, durch die sie fahren ;) Ich empfehle dir, dass du dich in die Nähe des Busfahrers setzt und ihn bittest, dass er dir Bescheid sagen soll, wenn ihr nach Prado del Rey kommt, wo es zwei Haltestellen gibt. Du kannst an einer von beiden aussteigen, aber es ist praktischer, wenn du an der Busstation aussteigst, von wo aus du nur eine Straße mit einer kleinen Steigung hochlaufen musst und auf der anderen Seite wieder runter (nach dem Plan, den wir dir zusenden). Dann bist du schon in der Fußgängerstraße vor dem Café-Restaurant La Esquina de Carmen (Treffpunkt) und der Sprachschule (über dem Café). So, das war's erst mal.
